This week on the GayPHX Podcast, we’re coming off a weekend that showed exactly what this community looks like when people show up for each other.

The Healthy & Proud Queer Wellness Fair and the Nu Towne Awards reminded us that connection, care, and visibility aren’t just ideas — they’re something we build together in real life.

So this week, we go deeper.

We sit down with Jesse from The Queer Center for a conversation about what it actually takes to create support systems in our community — especially when there isn’t a traditional space to hold them.

From the Euphoria Project to TransSpectrum support groups, to feeding and supporting our unhoused neighbors, this is about meeting people where they are and making sure no one is left out of the conversation.

We talk about why The Queer Center doesn’t have a physical building, how they’re getting resources directly into the hands of people who need them, and what it means to build something real from the ground up.

And somewhere in this conversation…

A major announcement drops.

Something new.
Something needed.
Something that has the potential to bring this community together in a whole new way.

If you were at the wellness fair, this is your follow-up.

If you weren’t, this is your way in.
